With over 30 years experience of working in industry across various sectors including food manufacturing, warehousing, transport and construction I’ve encountered health and safety with almost everything I do. Health and Safety plays an important daily role in all our lives from crossing the road to wearing a seat belt.

An opportunity arose for me in early 1998 to join a Safety Action Team at my then employer’s warehouse. Subsequently I carried out Risk Assessments, Action Plans, COSHH Assessments and Vehicle Body Safety Inspections for the warehouse and fleet. During the same year I was the author of a Strategic Loss Prevention Report for the company.

Today I engage with different industries offering advice and training as well as a personal perspective on business. Construction and Insurance Reinstatement work have been my bread and butter in recent years and the involvement in major and minor projects has allowed me to create a bond with likeminded professionals of various disciplines.

Experienced in health & safety management; project managing and site managing new build, listed building refurbishments, property damage reinstatements and environmental engineering projects across the UK.

I also provide a technical role for fire and flood damaged property surveying, cleaning, hygiene, drying out and remediation which has also involved interaction with the Fire Service, Police Forensics Crime Scene Investigators, Independent Fire Forensic Investigators and the HSE.
